OVERVIEW
The Client Success Manager (CSM) plays a central role in delivering exceptional service to Ed2Market’s K-12 education clients in a fast-paced marketing agency setting. This position is responsible for building strong, trusted client relationships while ensuring their goals align seamlessly with our marketing strategies. Working in partnership with a Marketing Strategist, the Client Success Manager helps guide 7-12 client accounts (depending on client size and capacity) by coordinating communication, supporting meetings, and ensuring each project stays on track, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
Beyond direct client support, the Client Success Manager contributes to the internal strength and efficiency of the Ed2Market team. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, managing project workflows using ClickUp, and collaborating with leadership to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and deeply interested in the K-12 education landscape.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Client Success and Communication
Work in collaboration with the Marketing Strategist as the primary points of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and aligning client goals with Ed2Market’s services
Support bimonthly/monthly client meetings and take internal notes, send agendas and calendar invites, document next steps, and send follow-ups as needed
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables alongside the Marketing Strategist to ensure successful campaign execution
Create tasks in project management software (ClickUp) and manage the deliverables timeline in accordance with the client’s Planning Workbook
Manage access to client tools and ensure documentation (systems, credentials, overview docs) is complete and accessible in ClickUp and LastPass
Collaborate with leadership to maintain high client satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for upsell
Collaborate with freelancers and outside contractors on project needs
Manage time effectively and work with leadership to prioritize projects accordingly
Act as a representative of the company when dealing with potential or existing customers
Ed2Market Agency Support
Continually develop knowledge of the K-12 education market and understand the nuances between product types and service offerings
Support the leadership team with internal projects and SOPs as needed
Utilize team tools to increase productivity and communication internally
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, project management, or a related field
1-2+ years of experience in marketing agency account management or client success
Experience working within a marketing agency setting
Strong project management skills and fluency with tools like ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, take initiative, and ask guiding questions on projects as needed, with limited direction at times
COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this role for PT or contract positions is based on experience and skillset and will range from $30-40/hr.
